First of all I would like to extend my congratulations to all of you today on the approaching Day of the Restoration of the Lithuanian Statehood.
I am also pleased having a possibility to introduce to you an American company Capstone Turbine Corporation- a company with a lot of experience in creating technology solutions for energy markets.
As you know, American companies are renowned for their innovative, high-quality technology. Capstone Turbine Corporation is a good example. But technology is only part of the value that American corporations bring to foreign partners. They also share a culture of strong management principles, responsible business conduct, and creativity.
Similar to Lithuania, fossil fuels provide about 80% of the energy used in the United States. Capstone uses advanced technology that can help us use that energy more efficiently. Their advanced engineering has produced unique energy management solutions for global use. They are here today to tell us about their “clean and green” microturbines. I’m not a technical expert, so I’ll leave the detailed discussion to them.
So I’d like to turn over the floor to Radu Anghel, Capstone Turbine Corporation’s Director responsible for market development in Europe, Russia and NIS who has come to Lithuania from Germany to introduce his company’s technologies. I hope everyone will find this discussion useful, and I encourage you to ask any questions you may have. Radu, over to you!
