The Fulbright National Archives award is made possible through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Fulbright Program and the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) which was signed on January 19, 2021, to support international scholarly exchange in archival science education, conservation, and research. NARA is an independent federal agency that serves American democracy by safeguarding and preserving the records of our government so people can discover, use, and learn from this documentary heritage. NARA carries out the mission through a nationwide network of archives, records centers, Presidential Libraries and online sources. The award will be fully funded.
