The Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) uniquely gathers governments, the private sector, and a powerful partner network to turn challenges into business opportunities worldwide. This year, the U.S. State Department will hold the Summit at The Hague, Netherlands June 4-5. The ambassadors of the United States of America and the Netherlands encourage Lithuanian entrepreneurs to apply for a chance to attend this global event. ”This is a unique opportunity for ambitious, mature and investment-ready entrepreneurs who are ready to scale up their business,” says the Ambassador of the United States to Lithuania Anne Hall. “The entrepreneurial spirit is growing in Lithuania and I would love to see Lithuanians take advantage of this extraordinary opportunity.”
The Summit aims to promote international entrepreneurship and will focus on driving innovation through entrepreneurship. It will bring together entrepreneurs, investors, innovators, policy makers, global brands, and thought leaders from around the world. ”The participants will go beyond just productive discussions,” says the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Lithuania Bonnie Horbach. ”They will take concrete action towards tackling challenges within five main sectors: food and agriculture, water, energy, health and connectivity.” The future of work and access to finance will serve as the two overarching themes of the summit.
