Services for U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents (LPRs)

Immigration services and benefits for U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents (LPRs) are provided by – U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) having jurisdiction over the LPR’s residence.

USCIS does not have an office in Vilnius, therefore, U.S. Embassy Vilnius can provide limited services for LPRs physically present in Lithuania. The Consular Section of U.S. Embassy Vilnius can:

1) process applications for Boarding Foils (previously known as Transportation Letters);

2) determine Returning Resident status;

3) or execute applications from LPRs abandoning their legal resident status.

For all other services required by LPRs residing in Lithuania, contact the USCIS overseas field office located at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow. Contact information for USCIS:
